Art Club members are selling Sports cups to raise money. Cups are available in all pro football, baseball, colleges and 5 u.s military designs. The 18oz. hard plastic cups come in a set of four (4 of the same design) and are 3D hollographic and dishwasher safe. They are $15.00 a set and will be delivered in time for christmas. Halloween Roses For sale by Art Club members.

Roses will be sold in the Elementary Center on Monday, Oct. 24th. and delivered on Friday, Oct. 28th. Roses will be sold in the high school all week and delivered in homeroom at the end of the day on Friday, Oct. 28th. Roses are $3.00 each. Available in solid black or red with black tips.

MAD Festival (Technology and Arts)


50 Students in grades 9-12 participated in the MAD festival event held at West Liberty University. The event was paid for by WLU and the Art Club. Students got to enjoy workshops throughout the day such as Painting with Famous Artist Matt Mahurin, illustrating children's books, 3D design, IPad in education, Istop motion animation, graphic design, web design, garage band, video editing and photography editing. All students received a free lunch and a free tshirt.

700 works of art were submitted by 389 hichschool students representing 79 schools in PA, OH, NY, MD, and VA. Avella students received 4 awards.....

Avella Rules The Art Show

Congratulations to the avella art students for their success in the Stifel Fine Arts Center art show. 153 art works from 9 area high schools were submitted into the show. Avella submitted 21 pieces of art and photography. Avella received 6 of the 15 awards given at last nights awards ceremony. Polly Clarcheck -First place for drawing of parrot, Dustin Kuback- honorable mention for drawing of ocelot, Ashley Saffle- honorable mention for drawing of softball glove, Zach Gray-second place for photography of sara brown collage, Maddie Ware-third place for photography, Justin Carlisle- second place for sculpture of A sketch in steel.
